Pablo Genovés†“Precipitations” digitize vintage postcards and inserts in them images of rising seas, roaring waves, and bombastic storms. In his work, he takes catastrophic destruction and transforms it into spectacular moments that we can gaze upon in awe. He aims to wrap his work in “an atmosphere of lie and falsehood,” and while they may not be believable they certainly are wonderful.
